The Eternal City

Day 1 - Departure

Your journey begins today, as you board your international flight to Rome!

Day 2 - Arrive in Rome

Upon arrival in the Eternal City, settle into your accommodations before gathering for an Opening Mass at the magnificent St. Peter’s Basilica. Experience the spiritual heart of Catholicism as you offer prayers in this awe-inspiring space, surrounded by centuries of history and faith.

Day 3 - The Vatican

Begin the day with a guided tour through the vast Vatican Museums, exploring priceless art collections and culminating in the breathtaking Sistine Chapel, where Michelangelo’s ceiling frescoes tell the story of creation. Later, join the community for Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica, a profound moment of worship in one of Christianity’s most iconic churches.

Day 4 - Catacombs & St. Paul Outside the Walls

Travel along the ancient Appian Way to visit the early Christian catacombs—silent underground burial sites that speak to the faith and perseverance of the early Church. In the afternoon, celebrate Mass at the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls, a grand basilica built over the tomb of St. Paul the Apostle, reflecting on his missionary zeal and legacy.

Day 5 – St. John Lateran and the Holy Stairs

Visit the Basilica of St. John Lateran, the oldest and highest-ranking of Rome’s four major basilicas and the official cathedral of the Pope. Engage in prayer and reflection in this sacred space. Afterwards, experience the devotion of walking the Scala Santa (Holy Stairs), believed to be the steps Jesus climbed during his trial before Pontius Pilate, offering a powerful moment of penance and spiritual renewal.

Day 6 – Baroque Rome and Sacred Squares

Explore the artistic and spiritual beauty of Baroque Rome, beginning with the lively Piazza Navona and its spectacular fountains. Toss a coin into the Trevi Fountain, symbolizing a hopeful return to the city. Visit nearby churches adorned with stunning Baroque art and architecture, reflecting on how faith and beauty intertwine to inspire the soul.

Day 7 – Castel Gandolfo and Lake Albano

Journey to Castel Gandolfo, the Pope’s summer residence perched above the serene Lake Albano. Spend time in quiet prayer by the water’s edge, soaking in the tranquil atmosphere. Conclude the day with a heartfelt Thanksgiving Mass, sharing gratitude for the spiritual graces experienced throughout the pilgrimage.

Day 8 – Shrine of Divine Love

Take a short pilgrimage outside the city to the Shrine of Divine Love, a Marian sanctuary that has drawn pilgrims for centuries. Participate in Mass and enjoy a time of meditation amidst the peaceful surroundings, deepening your connection to Mary’s maternal care and intercession.

Day 9 – Departure

After breakfast, prepare for your departure. Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy a last stroll through the streets of Rome or a quiet moment of prayer before transferring to the airport for your journey home, carrying with you the memories and blessings of your Roman pilgrimage.
