Celebrate Mass with the brothers of John De La Salle at Bethlehem University and interact with local students. Visit the Church of the Nativity and Shepherds’ Fields, then hike up Mt. Herodian to explore the fortress and secret tunnel toward Herod’s Tomb. Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem.
Spend the day hiking through the four quarters of the old city of Jerusalem, experiencing its diverse cultures. Walk the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, stopping at the Western Wall and St. James Armenian Church. Return to Bethlehem for dinner and overnight.
Drive to the Mt. of Olives to visit the Pater Noster Church and take in the city views. Hike along the Palm Sunday path, stopping at Dominus Flevit and the Garden of Gethsemane, and then follow the path Jesus took to Caiaphas’ house on Mt. Zion. Visit the Upper Room, King David’s traditional tomb, and the Dormition Abbey. Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem.
This morning, transfer to the airport for your return flight home.
