DAILY ITINERARY
Zagreb - Zadar - Medjugorje - Šibenik - Mostar - Sarajevo
Day 1 - Departure
Today, your journey begins by boarding your international flight to Zagreb, Croatia!
Day 2 - Arrive in Zagreb
Arrive at Zagreb Airport to begin your journey with an orientation session, followed by an Opening Mass at Zagreb Cathedral. Enjoy a welcome walk through the charming historic city center.
Day 3 - Zagreb & Marija Bistrica
Embark on a visit to Marija Bistrica, the most significant Marian shrine in Croatia. You will participate in Mass and prayer at the sanctuary. In the afternoon, return to Zagreb, where you will have some free time to explore the city or relax. The day will conclude with an evening reflection.
Day 4 – Plitvice Lakes, & Zadar
Spend the morning exploring Plitvice Lakes National Park, where you can enjoy a spiritual walk in nature. In the afternoon, transfer to Zadar and participate in the evening Mass at the Cathedral of St. Anastasia.
Day 5 – Zadar: A Day to Discover
Spend a leisurely day exploring the old town of Zadar. Take in the sights of the Sea Organ and the Sun Salutation, and make sure to visit notable churches such as St. Donatus and the Church of St. Mary. Allow time for prayer and reflection while enjoying the enchanting ambiance of the Adriatic.
Day 6 – Zadar, Šibenik, & Medjugorje
In the morning, visit the Cathedral of St. James in Šibenik and explore the historic center. Afterward, drive to Medjugorje (about a three-hour drive) to participate in the evening Rosary procession.
Day 7 – Medjugorje: A Pilgrimage Experience
Begin your day with morning Mass at St. James Church. Then, hike Apparition Hill and Cross Mountain for moments of prayer and reflection. Conclude the day with evening Adoration and the option of confession.
Day 8 – Medjugorje, Mostar, & Sarajevo
Visit Mostar to see the iconic Stari Most bridge and the Franciscan Church. Explore Mostar's Old Town before heading to Sarajevo, about two hours away. Attend evening Mass and enjoy a cultural walk around the city.
Day 9 – Sarajevo: Blending Faith and History
Visit significant sites like the Sacred Heart Cathedral and Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque, and contemplate themes of faith and reconciliation. Attend Mass and participate in group prayer, with free time to explore Sarajevo’s old town and cultural landmarks.
Day 10 – Sarajevo to Zagreb
Return to Zagreb and explore Kaptol, the historical district, where you can shop and relax in local cafés. End the day with a farewell Mass.
Day 11 – Departure
We will transfer to the airport this morning for your flight home.
