DAILY ITINERARY

Madonna of Loreto & Our Lady of the Rosary

Day 1 - Departure

Your journey begins as you board your international flight to Rome! 

Day 2 - Rome to Assisi

Arrive at Rome Airport and take a private coach to Assisi, which takes about 2.5 hours. After settling into your hotel, celebrate the Opening Mass at the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli (Porziuncola). End the day with a group prayer and an introduction to the Franciscan path. 

Day 3 - Assisi

Eremo delle Carceri and Porta Nuova

Begin with a visit to the Eremo delle Carceri, located on Mount Subasio, where St. Francis found solitude. Continue to the Chiesa Nuova, believed to be the site of Francis’s early life and vocation. Spend some time in the gardens of the Sacro Convento for reflection and prayer, followed by Mass and a group session on “Walking in Humility and Joy” in the evening. 

Day 4 - Loreto

Set off early for a day trip to Loreto, which will take approximately 2.5 hours. Visit the Sanctuary of the Holy House, participate in Mass, and pray the Rosary in the peaceful Marian gardens. Return to Assisi in the evening for supper, prayer, and rest. 

Day 5 – Assisi, Monte Sant' Angelo, & San Giovanni Rotondo

Travel north to Monte Sant’Angelo, about a 5-hour journey. Visit the ancient grotto where St. Michael is said to have appeared and celebrate Mass there. Reflect on the archangel's protection before heading to San Giovanni Rotondo for dinner and rest. 

Day 6 – San Giovanni Rotondo to Pompeii

Spend the morning at the shrine of St. Padre Pio, praying at his tomb and participating in Mass. In the afternoon, depart for Pompeii, which takes roughly 3.5 hours. Check into your accommodation and relax before the next day’s activities. 

Day 7 – Pompeii

Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Rosary 

Take time at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Rosary, where you’ll participate in Mass and go on a guided tour. Learn about Blessed Bartolo Longo and join a talk focused on trust and hope. Spend the evening journaling or seeking confession. 

Day 8 - Pompeii

Ancient Ruins and Reflection 

Explore the archaeological ruins of Pompeii, focusing on “Hope and Resurrection Amid the Ruins.” Return to the sanctuary in the evening for Mass and adoration, merging history with spiritual reflection.

Day 9 - Sorrento

Enjoy a day trip to Sorrento, visiting the Cathedral of Saints Philip and James. Engage with the coastal scenery and deepen connections with the group through prayer. Return to Pompeii for final reflections and dinner. 

Day 10 - Departure

Conclude with a final blessing and Mass at the Pompeii sanctuary, time permitting. Transfer to Naples Airport for your departure, taking with you the memories and spiritual insights from this pilgrimage.
